I have just seen the coolest idea here on making your own colouring book based on family photos – using Adobe Photoshop.
Can’t wait to give it a try, will post my efforts soon :)
I am a little bit obsessed about the colours of the rainbow at the moment, and after a quick search I have found the most amazing rainbow ideas, here are some of my faves… :)
Who wants this for their birthday cake?? I need an excuse to make it! Amy from The Idea Room made this gorgeous cake for her daughter.
Do you want a cuddle? This Rainbow Sunshine Plushie from Chez Beeper Bebe is just calling out to be made. A very interesting note on patents here too.
You can always rely on whipup to come through with the goods. Check out this gorgeous rainbow quilt round up.
And last but not least, these adorable tooth fairy bags from the purl bee. Too bad my teeth aren’t falling out anymore so I don’t have a use for them, doesn’t mean I don’t want to have them!
Something quick for the easter bunny here.
Easter birdy here.
Stylish fabric eggs here.
Birdy bunting/mobile here.
I discovered this blog late last night and I am so inspired. I adore kids birthday parties, cooking, stationary and co-ordinating things. All of those things can be found rolled into one at this blog, Sweet Designs.
Amy is an event planner specializing in high end dessert tables. She treats each endeavor as a unique project and designs each dessert table to fit the client. Not only are her tables fashionable and fun, Amy personally samples the products from her hand-picked list of suppliers to ensure that the desserts are as delicious as they look!
Wouldn’t it be fabulous to have a desert table at your next party?
A prep student in my grade last year brought this book in to share, and I fell in love.
The projects in this book are so adorable. So far I have made the Chihuahua and the Matryoshka as presents for friends, now I need to make some for myself. The photographs are gorgeous (I’m content to just look at them). The author explains the process very clearly and encourages you to design your own Felties. Hmmm, I’m thinking a monkey might be in order :)

Wow, so I’m taking the first step to my very own blog…this is exciting! I am very inspired by the fantastic people in the crafting community and after reading their blogs for quite some time I have decided to begin my own.
